Rules & Regulations

  • In our training, special emphasis is laid on building of Character. Discipline of high order is expected from all students.
  • Students shall implicitly obey all orders issued by the Principal or members of staff from time to time. Violation of any rule will lead to fining or suspension or dismissal from the institute, depending upon the gravity of the offence.
  • The Principal shall have powers to fine, suspend or even expel a student from the College in the interest of the institution under disciplinary action.
  • Students are required to be regular in their attendance. The students should not absent themselves from classes without obtaining sanction of leave in advance. Any student who is absent on a day without sanction of leave, will not be permitted to attend the class in the next day without meeting the Principal to explain the reason for his/her absence and he/she will have to pay a fine of Rs.10/- per day.
  • The Students will be permitted to appear for the Board Examination only if they put in not less than 80% attendance of the total number of working hours.
  • Students are expected to be in their class rooms atleast 10 minutes before the commencement of the morning and afternoon sessions.
  • Students should wear uniform on all days except Saturday.
  • They should not spoil the cleanliness of the Polytechnic College premises. They are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Polytechnic College.
  • Students shall be careful in handling the properties of the institution; in case of any damage caused to them, the cost of the same will be recovered from the student or group of students concerned.
  • Cell phones are strictly banned in the Campus.
  • Visitors are strictly not allowed inside the Polytechnic College premises to meet the students; students are not permitted to attend any phone call in the office.
  • Day-scholars are not allowed to come in two wheeler vehicle inside of the college campus.
  • Any student who desires to represent any personal difficulty may contact the Principal through his/her Tutor.
  • Every student should actively take part in all the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the Institution.
  • Every student is expected to be a model of perfection and bring credit to the institution.
  • Malpractice in tests and exams, even if it is minor in nature will be severely dealt with.
  • Writing or scribbling on the walls, floors or any part of the College buildings and on the furniture is strictly prohibited. Students should not throw paper about or spill ink on the floors.
  • Eve-teasing and ragging are strictly prohibited. Students found guilty of these crimes will be dismissed from the College.
  • No student shall smoke anywhere inside the College campus or outside it. Students who are found using drugs will be summarily dismissed from the college. Even possession of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages and nicotinic drugs will be an offence. Encouraging and inducing others to smoke and drink will also be an offence.
  • No student shall take part in any activity or any public movement in which the College authorities think it undesirable. Students should abstain from participation in the party, communal and religious politics. Students should not discriminate themselves based on caste, creed or religion.
  • Being a Co-educational institution, students should not exchange any things with the opposite sex. Apart from academic conversation, no other conversation should be made with the opposite sex.
