The Merit Polytechnic College started "Career Guidance and Placement Cell" in the year 2011, through which all discipline students have been given motivation and proper career guidance which help them to become successful men and women in their life. The Cell has been organized Campus Interview for Students of all disciplines and also have been arranged for off campus placement and the students were placed in various organizations. Being this as the motto, our Career Guidance and Placement Cell is instituted in the year 2011. It is functioning under the effective and efficient guidance of Principal, Placement Officer, Placement Coordinator and Assistant coordinators from various departments of the college. This ensures wide opportunities to young and energetic graduates and the youth at the end of their degree programme.
Our cell organizes several seminars about communicative skills, group discussions and personal interview by eminent people to equip and mould the really deserving candidates. They are also well trained by giving the chance to work in the recent software to develop their aptitudes and logic reasoning. Our cell has Memorandum of Understanding signed with several computer centre's which certificate course to improve their soft skills. Several leading Multi National Companies, Banks, BPOs, Call Centre's and Schools are invited to conduct OFF/ON campus interviews to provide recruitment to our college students and also for a huge mass of candidates in and around Tirunelveli. Above all our cell has got a good network with the institutions & industries in and around Tirunelveli which give a helping hand to make the vision & motto come true.
